Topham Park is holding a series of one hour Pitching Training sessions over ten Tuesdays in February, March and April 2024. These training sessions will be held at Tredway Woodsworth Public School located at 112 Sedgemount Dr, Scarborough, ON M1H 1X9. Each session will be limited to 10 pitchers only.

Pitching Training Sessions

The pitching training sessions will be focused on mechanics, particularly in the lower body. Arm speed, and proper release will be worked on, along with spins and change of speed for more advanced pitchers. The trainings will be suitable to beginners as well as more advanced players.

Our instructor will be Craig Sarson, a longtime softball player who has played worldwide, including teams in New Zealand and Europe. Since 2010, he has specialized in player development of youth athletes and he has worked individually with many of our Topham pitchers. Craig is currently the Director of Player Development for the Milton Girls Softball Association

The pitching training sessions will be open to all players born in years 2009 to 2015.
